Life Groups
What is a Life Group?
 Each group is different! - Groups meet in Athens and surrounding communities.
- The atmosphere is very casual.
- Each group sets its own pace and structure to meet goals in a way that fits them best.
- Groups are always open to visitors and friends.
Mission Statement
Life Groups exist to glorify God by:
- Enjoying intimate spiritual fellowship through Christ
- Praying and caring for the needs of one another
- Learning and applying the truths of the Word of God
- Reaching out to the lost and relationally sharing the love of Christ
- Helping one another experience abundant life through a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Purpose
- Life Groups are small groups of people who are experiencing life with God together.
- Members seek to deepen their relationship with God and each other through worship, Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and service.
- Life Groups are a place to be encouraged, equipped and challenged to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
- Life Groups strategically plan for the growth of God’s Kingdom through leadership training and intentional group growth.
- Life Groups are a safe haven where intimate relationships can grow.
