What is a LifeGroup?

Each LifeGroup is different!
Groups meet in Athens and surrounding communities.
The atmosphere is very casual.
Each group sets its own pace and structure to meet the goals of LifeGroups in a way that fits them best.
LifeGroups are open to visitors and friends at any time.

LifeGroup Mission Statement

LifeGroups exist to glorify God by:

Enjoying intimate spiritual fellowship through Christ
Praying and caring for the needs of one another
Learning and applying the truths of the Word of God
Reaching out to the lost and relationally sharing the love of Christ
Helping one another experience abundant life through a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

The Purpose of LifeGroups

LifeGroups are small groups of people who are experiencing life with God together.
LifeGroups seek to deepen their relationship with God and each other through worship, Bible study, fellowship, prayer, and service.
LifeGroups are a place to be encouraged, equipped and challenged to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
LifeGroups strategically plan for the growth of God’s Kingdom through leadership training and intentional group growth.
LifeGroups are a safe haven where intimate relationships can grow.
